Special Educational Needs Reforms 2014 |
As from the 1st September 2014 the Department for Education have introduced reforms to the way support is provided to children with Special Educational Needs. These reforms are very wide reaching and impact significantly on how we work with parents and support children. They are the biggest changes for over 30 years.
•Padiham Green have produced a 'Local Offer'. This is a document which outlines how we support children with special educational needs and their families. The Local Offer encapsulates how our school manages special needs and what parents can expect from us. You can find our Local Officer on a separate link.
•Padiham Green has produced a 'Provision Map'. This is a document which lists all the Special Needs support we offer in school. It includes support such as 1:1 adult support, booster reading interventions and Speech Therapy sessions, to name just a few. Our provision map lists every support intervention we use in school.
