Interventions are small group or one-to-one activities that are set up to address a specific area that a child may be experiecing some difficulty with.
Our class teachers oversee the progress and development of the child no matter who is leading the intervention.
Each intervention has a distinct purpose and works towards very specific targets or outcomes. The following is a selection of the interventions, but not an exhaustive often used at our school:

By the end of year 4 (age of 9) all children should know their tables and the corresponding division facts "off by heart".
This is the expectation of the National Curriculum and it vital for good progress in Maths.
Tackling Tables uses 3 colour phases to make this ideal a reality!
By regularly playing the Tackling Tables cards, children will not only learn their tables but also understand the relationship between multiplication and division.
